Mining Logistics and Freight Services

Through working closely with clients in the mining industry we understand that downtime contributes to lost production and ultimately affects operational profitability. With this we also offer a freight only logistic service to get materials and equipment supplied from our clients delivered direct to their site.

We currently operate two regular freight services per week to the North West of Western Australia. We also frequently undertake direct services for items required immediately on-site.

All materials and equipment sent from our site is securely packaged on individual pallets and stored and wrapped where required.

As per all our services, we would gladly discuss your individual logistics needs.

General Procurement

We are a key supply partner to many remote regional clients. We offer a procurement service to source a wide range of goods and services and to have these delivered on-site in a timely and efficient manner.

We also pride ourselves on our ability to source hard to find or unusual items. Whatever you may be looking for we have probably supplied it to someone in the past and can source it for you.

Fabrication

Westplate offers a fabrication service to produce finished metallic and ceramic products for our clients, ready for on-site installation. We can undertake the fabrication of materials, either supplied by us or by our clients. Our fabrication process is undertaken in accordance with Australian standards, or individual specifications supplied by our clients.

Our specific fabrication services include:

• Cutting to size (including plasma cutting)
• Studding
• Countersinking and boring
• Machining
• Specifically designed wear kits for both mobile equipment or fixed plant
• Tapering
• Profiling
• Nesting

Bending, Rolling & Drilling

Westplate offers a bending, rolling and drilling service, for metal products either supplied by us by our clients. We follow specific drawings and instructions to produce finished goods ready for installation, in a time and cost effective manner.

Surface Treatment

Our mining clients operate in a diverse range of environments and conditions. Our fabrication service is complimented by our surface treatment service to provide materials and finished goods to meet the required needs of our clients.
